Playground and the Online Question

The poker room on the third floor at 1500 Route 138 is a place you drive to, over the Honoré-Mercier Bridge. Online play is a separate question, and Playground is not part of it.

Playground

Playground Stays on Route 138

Playground runs no online casino. Its cash games, daily tournaments and gaming machines are all inside the building at 1500 Route 138. Any ad or website claiming otherwise is fraudulent, and Playground warns guests of exactly that.

In September 2023, the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission flagged Facebook ads that wrongly claimed Playground offered online gaming. If an ad promises Playground games on a phone or laptop, treat it as one of those claims. The venue's own website is playground.ca.

Québec

Québec's Own Site, and a Dispute

Québec runs its own online games through Loto-Québec, at lotoquebec.com. That site is open to Québec residents aged 18 and over. They also need to be physically in Québec while they play. A visitor from outside the province does not meet the residency condition. In Québec, a person has to be 18 to gamble, and Playground welcomes no one younger.

No licence for private online casinos exists in Québec. An online licence from the Kahnawà:ke Gaming Commission does not count as a Québec authorization either. Kahnawà:ke and Québec still disagree on that point. Neither position changes how Playground works: it runs no online casino at all.

Who Pays for This Guide

As an independent guide, Kahnawake Table Concierge is neither a casino nor Playground's website, and it accepts no bets. Ad labels mark every paid link, and none appears beyond the home page. Three spots hold them: a header button, one block right after the opening screen, another shortly before the bottom. Through these links a commission reaches the guide, and the partner on the other side may change.

A private online casino sits behind those links. That casino is not lotoquebec.com and has no tie to Playground or to any other gaming venue in Kahnawà:ke. The partner holds no authorization from Québec, where no licence for private online casinos exists.

Questions

Short answers

Loto-Québec runs the province's online games at lotoquebec.com. The site is open to Québec residents aged 18 and over who are physically in Québec.
