Most of an easy evening at the Playground poker room is settled before leaving home. Here is the order we suggest, card first and the drive last, with a planner below to keep track.

Start With the Player's Card

A Playground Player's card is needed to sit at a poker table or use a gaming machine. It can be arranged online or at Guest Services. Membership costs nothing, and the card can be set up on the spot. ORSO Trattoria Moderna, one of the three restaurants in the building, also requires the card to eat there.

Guests often want to know next what they should bring. Playground does not publish which ID documents are accepted at the door, so phone (450) 635-7653 before leaving. Only guests who have reached 18, the legal age for gambling, are admitted, whether on site or on playground.ca.

Your Name on the List

Every poker waiting list at Playground runs through the Poker Atlas app, where a seat is requested. The text-message line that once handled this has been switched off. Setting up the app at home, along with the Player's card, keeps the arrival simple.

The poker tables never stop, day or night, all week long, so guests choose their own arrival time. Stakes are not published. For a question about a particular game, open the app or call (450) 635-7653.

Arriving and Leaving the Car

By car, the route from Montréal crosses the Honoré-Mercier Bridge and follows Route 138 into Kahnawà:ke. Playground puts the drive at 20 minutes from downtown Montréal. There is no charge to leave the car, in the self-park lot or with the valet.

If you are coming without a car, take the Green Line to Angrignon, the last station. From there, exo bus 31 or 32 heads toward Châteauguay. Step off at the Playground stop. Should the night run late, Playground offers no hotel itself; it refers overnight guests to the Host Hotel, 5 minutes away at 1800 RTW 132.
